This position is eligible for hybrid work policy after training. Description Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith P.C. is looking to hire a part-time (21-29 hours per week) insurance defense attorney for the Litigation Practice Group to work in our Southfield office. This position is eligible for hybrid work policy after training. Candidates must be admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and in good standing to be considered. Position Responsibilities Include Managing files Draft pleadings, motions, and responses and legal correspondence Handle all aspects of discovery including taking depositions as well as drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests to produce Represent clients in court proceedings, including motion hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, trials, and evidentiary hearings Work closely with clients including writing regular status reports and communicating complex information (written and oral) to stakeholders in an accessible way Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff Foster Swift offers a great work environment, a competitive starting salary, and the potential for annual bonuses.
