They are a GMP certified packaging company who focus on the production and distribution of extrusion blow molded and injection molded screw lid drums and pails.\n\nAs a Process Technician, you will be responsible for the processing (blow molding & injection molding) of molded products. You will be responsible for the scrap rates, efficiency, of the production facility on your shift. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:\nAssuring safe work practices including proper use and wear of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, etc.)\nPerforming Mold change overs & start ups\nPerforming color changes when required by the schedule\nPerform general inspections of molded products based on Control Plan\nPerform process audit to validate proper equipment and process performance\nTroubleshooting processes, machines, molding & facilities equipment\nNon-Destructive and Destructive product testing\nCorrective Actions and Root Cause Analysis\nUtilizing 5S principles to ensure visual control (housekeeping standards)\nParticipating in qualification and process optimization for each mold\nPerforming other duties as necessary\n\nRequirements:\nMust have Blow Molding and/or Injection Molding Experience\n5+ years of experience in Plastics Processing (packaging or healthcare preferred)\n2 years of continued technical education (associate degree)\nFork Truck experience / certification\nOverhead crane experience / certification\nProven results to drive a safety culture\nStrong understanding of molding machines and processes\nAbility to develop and maintain strong positive collaborative working relationships with interdepartmental team members, gaining the trust and ability to influence the other team members in working together toward a common goal\nStrong leadership skills, including consensus building, openness to new ideas, and the ability to motivate\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to simplify complex ideas and processes.\nDetailed-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and display consistent follow-through on tasks, assignments, projects, etc.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nSupervisory/leadership skills\nPersonal computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word)\nAbility to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications\nGood communication\nFlexible\nGood teamwork and time management skills\nPositive attitude\n\nOur client offers a great benefits package and a versatile position with a competitive hourly wage.
