SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER – NORTH AMERICASOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – WORLD HEADQUARTERSAs a member of the Sales team, the Sales Account Manager – North America will be responsible for leading customer and/or product initiatives to drive profitable sales growth in key Connection Systems product portfolioThe RoleYour work will include, but not be limited to:Drives Long Range Revenue Plan commitments. Establishes targets and roadmaps to achieve overall revenue growth by customer, product, and regionResolves commercial issues for new and existing businessReviews business cases for correct and appropriate inputs; challenges team to constantly improve cost structurePrepares analysis/executive summaries for business cases with recommendations for managementIdentify and implement VA/VE opportunities through BOM analysis and create commercial proposals that produce additional businessEnsures integration of our key technologies in future projects/programs. Promotes entire range of Lear E-Systems product portfolioDevelop strong internal relationships to collectively work towards a common goal of creating customer valueSupport activities that facilitate smooth launches, positive customer relations, and achievement of financial targetsYour QualificationsStrong understanding of customer-specific requirements and automotive commercial processesBusiness acumen including negotiation skills and understanding of financial business casesAbility to compile and present business cases for leadership approval2-3 Years experience working with major automotive manufacturers in the Electrical/Electrical Architecture space (Injection Molding, Stamping, Wiring, Power Distribution, etc.)Undergraduate degree preferred in Business Development, Engineering, Finance, or related fieldPersistence to achieve revenue & profit goalsDemonstrated ability to communicate and convey product value propositions with customersAbility to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independentlyExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsSelf-Driven individual with a team player mentalityBonus If You HaveExperience specifically related to LV/HV Connection SystemsMBA in Business Development, Engineering, Finance, or related fieldLear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.Applicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
