This position operates and programs robotic MIG/TIG welding cells supporting defense-program weld assemblies. Team members progress through two competency tiers, each building on the prior level’s skill set, taking on increasing responsibility for robot programming, fixture setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Because this facility supports defense contracts, export-control and facility-security considerations apply alongside standard hiring practices.\n\nThe ideal candidate brings a minimum of 2 years of industrial welding experience, competency in Prototype Welding Technician Level 2 functions, and hands-on experience with at least one of the Motoman, Panasonic, or Fanuc robot controllers. PLC screen navigation, GD&T fluency, and the ability to troubleshoot builds using CMM reports are critical factors in this role.
