Typical work will include a wide variety of municipal, state, and local government projects involving water and wastewater treatment facilities, conveyance systems, storage, and pump stations.\n\nThe candidate will utilize their education, with guidance from other scientists and engineers to assist in scientific and administrative tasks. The candidate should have the willingness to learn new tasks and will support meaningful work products.\n\nYour Role:\nAssist design engineering on a wide variety of municipal water and wastewater projects.\nCollect and enter data using Microsoft and other database applications for technical evaluation.\nInterpret data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.\nAssist with report production, quality control, and file management activities.\nWork under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.\nConduct research for ongoing projects, including review of regulations and permits, work plans, or other documents.\nWork with the CAD designers for markups of project drawings and quality assurance compliance.\nEdit and write design reports for review by clients and state agencies.\n\nQualifications:\nB.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering; MS preferred\n0-3 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the municipal engineering sector\nLicensed EIT or ability and interest to obtain EIT and/or be in active pursuit of registration\nBe highly motivated and a high-performance team member\nKnowledge of data collection and tabulation in preparation of scientific documents.\nStrong technical writing skills.\nAbility to format and produce reports as well as the ability to maintain file management.\nAttention to detail is required.\nThe successful candidate will work as a problem solver, will have an interest and ability to work in a collaborative manner, and will have the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.\nMust be able to manage time well and work on tasks as part of a larger project team.\nIn addition to English, fluency in other languages will be considered a plus.\nCandidate should be self-motivated and able to take directions.\nExperience with any of the following is a plus:\nWater/Sanitary Sewer modeling\nBioWin Modeling\nWater and wastewater treatment\nThis position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more\nSalary Range: $72,000k - $83,000, depending on experience\nThis position will close on 26 September 2024\nAbout Tetra Tech\n\nTetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 550 locations around the world.
