Submit your application for the opportunity below: AVP of Locums Delivery WFH.Job Summary And QualificationsJOB TITLE – Assistant Vice President, Locum TenensGENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Oversee strategic management of the organization’s Locum Tenens internal recruitment service line to include the recruitment and placement of Physicians and Advanced Practice roles. This position shall also oversee the travel logistics team which coordinates travel for providers. The AVP is responsible for formulating and executing innovative strategies to enhance recruitment processes, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence. This role requires collaboration with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and key clients to optimize service delivery and support the organization's objectives.SUPERVISOR – VP Locum TenensSUPERVISES – Recruiters, Recruiting Support Roles, and Travel TeamESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Lead the organization in developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies for Locum Tenens, utilizing best practice methodologies to optimize candidate sourcing and placement. Accurately assess and develop plans to establish efficiencies in the travel booking process for Locum Tenens while ensuring travel policy is adhered to Ensure the selection, hiring, and ongoing development of recruitment staff and support personnel. Oversee performance evaluations and establish a retention plan that fosters talent growth within the team. Cultivate strategic relationships and trust with key clients and stakeholders, aligning recruitment services with their goals and operational needs. Direct and oversee the overall function of the Locum Tenens Delivery team, focusing on the integration of people, processes, and technology to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness. Systematically assess and direct the recruitment services, employing a collaborative approach to resource allocation that aligns with organizational goals and industry advancements. Develop and recommend innovative strategies to enhance company policies and recruitment programs, driving improvements in service quality and operational performance. Proactively address and respond to client needs, ensuring effective execution of recruitment processes that exceed expectations and foster long-term partnerships. Set and lead annual performance goals, cultivating a high-performance culture and aligning team efforts to achieve organizational objectives. Coordinate efforts across departments, leveraging company-wide resources to meet recruitment objectives and customer expectations effectively. Interpret and implement HR policies, operational procedures, and strategic developments to ensure alignment across the recruitment function. Uphold and advocate for the Company’s Code of Conduct, Mission, and Values throughout all interactions and operations. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES – This position requires the following minimal requirements:Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage complex resources. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey strategic vision and operational directives clearly. Proven track record of ownership in managing responsibilities and driving projects to successful completion. Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on setting high-performance standards and delivering high-quality recruitment services. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Customer-focused mindset, adept at building long-term relationships and consistently delivering beyond client expectations. In-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, with the ability to implement them effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment technologies as necessary. Solid project management skills, using strategic planning tools and processes to manage goals, schedules, and performance metrics. Ability to foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and engagement. EDUCATION –Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university requiredExperience – Minimum of seven years healthcare management, recruitment or staffing experience. Relevant industry experience may substitute previous healthcare requirement Experience leading large scale business transformation programs or implementations preferred Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels including hospital executivesCERTIFICATE/LICENSE – NonePHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS –Exert up to 30 lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs frequentlyRequires prolonged sitting and some bending, stooping, and stretching.
