Additionally, s/he will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of restaurant profitability, familiarity with restaurant technology, and the flexibility to respond to operational issues on evenings and weekends as required. The ability to handle preventative maintenance and minor repairs on restaurant and building equipment is a strong plus. Reliable transportation is required, and the Company will subsidize fuel expenses for work-related travel.\r\nThe District Manager reports directly to ownership and is responsible for the operations, training, and maintenance of assigned restaurants via direct supervision of three Restaurant General Managers (RGMs). Specific responsibilities include:\r\nOperations\r\nSupervise RGMs in the performance of their duties, and keep ownership appraised of RGMs' adherence to Company and Burger King standards\r\nTrack that stores are open during designated hours of operation and make recommendations for modifications to hours of operation to ownership\r\nTrack key operational metrics (Guest Satisfaction, Speed of Service, and Training), and implement formal improvement plans for underperforming restaurants\r\nOversee assigned restaurants' readiness for Burger King Restaurant Excellence Visits by tracking Brand Standards, Food Safety, and Facilities compliance\r\nAttend and track RGM attendance of BKC-required webinars and training sessions\r\nCoordinate / approve / track the transfer of product between stores as required\r\nServe as acting RGM or approve the designation of an Assistant Manager as acting RGM in the event of an RGM vacancy or absence\r\nServe as a direct link with the Company's corporate Operations Partner\r\nMaintenance\r\nProvide daily and weekly cleaning lists to RGMs and track accomplishment\r\nCheck that RGMs are conducting required periodic maintenance on restaurant equipment.
