This entry-level position is designed for individuals interested in learning the trade and building a career in alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and low-voltage cabling. You will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with installation and service of fire/burglar alarms, security systems, cameras, and network infrastructure for both residential and commercial clients.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with installation and service of fire and burglar alarms, CCTV, access control, and network systems.\n\nHelp troubleshoot and repair security and low-voltage systems under supervision.\n\nLearn how to run, terminate, test, and label cabling (twisted pair, coaxial, and fiber).\n\nSupport site surveys, maintenance, and accurate documentation of work performed.\n\nMaintain tools, materials, and a safe, organized work environment.\n\nFollow all safety procedures and company protocols.\n\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED (Vocational/Technical training a plus).\n\nValid Driver’s License.\n\nStrong interest in learning alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.\n\nMechanical/technical aptitude and willingness to learn.\n\nComfortable using basic hand and power tools.\n\nAble to pass state/federal background checks.\n\nAuthorized to work in the U.S.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift and carry equipment and tools.\n\nComfortable working on ladders, in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.\n\nCapable of working in varying weather conditions.\n\nKey Skills & Attributes\nEager to learn with a strong work ethic.\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\n\nDetail-oriented and organized.\n\nCustomer-focused attitude.\n\nGrowth Opportunity\nThis is an entry-level apprenticeship with on-the-job training provided.
