Helpdesk Specialist
Client in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Helpdesk Specialist for a contract position. This person will focus on a domain migration project. Role is mostly remote, but candidates must be local to Ithaca and willing to possibly come onsite to an office occasionally for support needs. Responsibilities will include:Migrating Mac and PC laptops between AD domainsPerform backups of user dataSetup and maintain end-user devices including workstations, peripherals, etc. to support business growth and initiatives.Configure wireless networking, printing, mapping network drives and other common connectivity configurationsSet-up AD accounts in Azure EntraID, including MFAProviding excellent customer service to our usersRequirements:Ability to follow defined processes and instructionsStrong background in end user computing to include support of endpoint infrastructure and peripherals.1 or more years of relevant experience with setup, configuration, troubleshooting of Windows and MacOS desktop/laptop hardware and software.Must have strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures and tools.
