Through hands-on training, mentorship, and a culture of internal promotion, we empower you to reach your full potential and contribute to projects that truly matter.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Coordinator located in Dallas, Texas .\nReporting to the Planning Supervisor, the Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials among departments to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.\nShift : Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM\n\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate with Buyers and Planners to ensure material needs of production are met\nFollow up with vendors and buyers regarding lead times for materials and obtain tracking information; coordinate delivery dates, as needed\nFollow up on any items showing short by working with purchasing and engineering to get a resolution in place\nUpdate the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP system\nNotify appropriate internal teams (project managers, production managers, etc.) of any issues and material shortages that could potentially affect production\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nExperience working in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting required\n1+ years’ experience in planning, customer service, production, inventory, logistics or expediting\nProficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)\nExperience with MRP/ERP Systems preferred\nAble to type 120 WPM preferred\nBilingual preferred\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills\nPhysical Requirements:\nPeriods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computer\nMust wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
