The Process Engineer will evaluate and analyze current process metrics and performance to identify areas requiring improvements.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities:\r\nAnalyze and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance.\r\nDevelop process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity.\r\nFacilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to provide improved results.\r\nDevelop standard procedures and policies to be followed by the operation team\r\nTrain and guide resources as needed.\r\nWork with various teams to reduce process and business variations.\r\nAssist Managers in management for capital projects.\r\nPrepare project presentations for management when needed.\r\nReview and update business procedures and documents based on project requirements\r\nImplement lean manufacturing principles to the processing to promote improvements\r\nFamiliar with the implementation/utilization of DMAIC, TPM, Kaizen and other tools to facilitate the engagement of department members for sustainability\r\nPerson must be dynamic and flexible enough to adapt to fast pace commercialization needs of projects under his/her responsibility\r\nRequirements:\r\nBS / BA degree in related field or certification\r\nSix Sigma, Lean, Black, Yellow, and Green Belt Certified\r\nMinimum 5 years working in multiple manufactory\r\n5+ years of experience in the food industry in either product or process development roles\r\nProven experience and ability to communicate and relate to business partners and another cross-functional team is required\r\nEngage and assist with the assessment, development, implementation and monitoring of the cost saving initiatives\r\nExperience in product formulation, process optimization, scale up from bench to pilot plant to plant production, cost savings, shelf life and quality improvements.\r\nProduce experience a must\r\nTeam oriented and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment.\r\nStrong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and have excellent organizational and analytical skills\r\nWork with Project Management and Special Projects as assigned\r\nOther Information:\r\nThe statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed, as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
