Yard Driver (CDL)
Summary: Yard Driver will be responsible for organizing all shipping containers in the yard.
Essential Functions:
Rack/Container movement in the yard
Exterior plant organization
Packaging transportation inside/outside of building
Loading/unloading trucks as necessary
**Develop and maintain an organized and efficient loading and unloading process
Setting up disposal of damaged containers
Coordinating disposable of obsolete containers as well as new containers
Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Backup to shipping clerks or manufacturing material handlers as necessary
Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience (Hi-lo driving) and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position operates in a professional office environment with controlled temperatures. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Will have some exposure to loud noise, hot and cold temperatures in manufacturing plants.
