Server Apprentice, In Room Dining - On Call

POSITION OVERVIEWThe Server Apprentice is responsible for providing a timely and professional retrieval of dishes, tables and trays remaining after the In Room Dining (IRD) delivery and maintaining the required supply of products and equipment needed to prepare the guest’s food and beverage order safely and efficiently.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Provide an excellent IRD experience to every guestEmbrace the Fontainebleau Culture Values and living the Fontainebleau promisePersonalize the service through use of guest by name and a sincere interest in the guest’s well-beingEnsure timely retrieval of IRD soiled dishes, tables and trays from the guest’s room or suiteExit guest’s room/suite in a respectful and appreciative manner using the guest nameRetrieve IRD soiled dishes, tables, and trays throughout the entire propertyEnsure the cleanliness of the guest hallways and elevator landingsAccurately pre-set tables and trays for anticipated volumeAssist in the accurate assembly and preparation of orders prior to deliveryAssist Food Servers in the delivery process as requestedResponsible for the accurate pick-up matrix and HotSOS documentation of every retrieval and assignmentComplete all side work as assigned by managementMaintain a healthy and safe working environmentProactively stock and maintain set up lines with proper inventory of China, glass, flatware, linens, condiments, and dressings to have readily available for the complete preparation of IRD tables and trays for deliveryEnsure proper rotation of all supplies and the accurate labeling of perishable products in compliance with the Nevada State Health CodeAccurately document on daily inventory sheets all front of house food/beverage productsAccurately document on daily inventory and daily inspection check lists including health and safety related standardsResponsible for the retrieval of goods and supplies from the various support areas including warehouse, bakery, pastry, cake room and other support kitchensTemporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
