{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"fc68141bdef78cf2b4734e6e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fc68141bdef78cf2b4734e6e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fc68141bdef78cf2b4734e6e","title":"Behavior Technician","description":"The Behavior Technician (BT) will implement treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.\nThe Behavior Technician will provide services in the client's home, community, and/or center-based settings, and follow treatment protocols outlined by the BCBA.\nThe Behavior Technician will be responsible for adhering to ethical and professional standards of practice set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nImplement treatment plans developed by the BCBA, including behavior management strategies, skill acquisition programs, and social skills training\nAccurately collect and record data on client progress towards achieving treatment goals\nProvide written and oral feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress\nAttend scheduled meetings to review progress, discuss concerns, and treatment goals\nMaintain confidentiality of client information\nMaintain professional and ethical standards according to the BACB code of ethics\nComplete required documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and incident reports.\nAttend professional development training opportunities as required\nMaintain open communication with client families, caregivers, and other treatment team members\nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field is preferred\nExperience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD and/or other developmental disabilities is required.\nAbility to implement behavior management strategies and skill acquisition programs as outlined by the BCBA.\nAbility to collect and record accurate data on client progress\nAbility to communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other treatment team members\nAbility to maintain professionalism and ethical standards at all times\nMust pass a criminal background check\nWorking Conditions:\nRegistered Behavior Technicians work in client homes, community settings, and/or center-based settings\nBehavior Technicians may work evenings and weekends to accommodate client and family schedules\nBehavior Technicians may be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.\nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other job related duties as assigned by the BCBA.
