Blue Marlin has an immediate need for a Part-Time and a Back Up Custodian to provide cleaning services for a USDA facility located at the Lihue Airport. This role supports the cleanliness, sanitation, and safe operation of a 1,600 sq. ft. federal facility. Services must be performed with minimal disruption to government operations and in full compliance with federal security and environmental requirements.Essential DutiesClean administrative offices, conference rooms, break room, and inspection stationsEmpty trash and replace linersVacuum carpeted areas, including under desksSweep, dust mop, and wet mop floorsClean and disinfect sinks, counters, tables, chairs, and high-touch surfacesClean stainless-steel countertops and dust fans in inspection areasMaintain separate cleaning tools for restroom and non-restroom areasUse approved biobased cleaning productsSafeguard government property and access credentialsFollow all USDA, airport, and facility security proceduresCommunication & SchedulingCommunicate with supervisors and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)Use Microsoft Teams, computers, and mobile phones for scheduling and work updatesProvide advance notice of schedule changes when requiredRequired QualificationsAbility to pass a USDA APHIS Background investigationAuthorized to work in the United StatesPrior custodial or janitorial experience preferredBasic computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Teams and mobile devicesAbility to work independently and follow detailed instructionsStrong attention to detail and reliabilityPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 20 poundsAbility to perform repetitive cleaning tasksWork EnvironmentHours: 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Schedule:Workdays: Monday, Wednesday, and FridayShifts: Morning shift No nights or weekends required
