Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for payments and tips. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service and addressing any inquiries or issues. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is advantageous but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
