Ground Transportation Agent (Baggage Handler) Pay Rate: Starting at 17.54 per hour + tips.Medical, dental, and vision benefit programs.401K available.A Ground Transportation Agent (Baggage Handler) works at an airport facility/rental car facility and assists passengers on the shuttle bus with their luggage.Responsibilities include loading and unloading luggage racks on shuttle buses, ensuring the proper stowage for travel. Queuing and directing passengers in lines while waiting for the next bus. Answering questions or concerns about the airport or rental car facility. Collecting luggage carts at rental car facility for customer use. Providing the greatest customer service ever.This is a physically demanding position which requires you to be on your feet for the entirety of your shift.NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! PAID TRAINING!Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageBe authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to clear a background and drug screen (We do not test for THC)Must be able to lift up to up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the shiftAbility to stand, stoop, bend, push, pull throughout entire shiftExperience in customer service preferred but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to effectively communicate with internal and external customersComplete all required training including airport compliance Appearance Guidelines: Employees are expected at all times to present a professional business-like image, even when working behind the scenes. It is the policy of the Company that each employee's dress, grooming, and personal hygiene should be appropriate to the work situation and be consistent with the Company's business standards.For all male employees a fully grown in, well-maintained mustache, beard or goatee is permittedFacial hair must be neatly trimmed at one-fourth of an inch in length and may not present an unkempt appearanceNo visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed. Any tattoos must be covered by your uniform or other means agreed upon by management.Clean & well-maintained approved uniforms must be worn on shiftAdditional requirements as specified by management
