This role is responsible for developing and enhancing end-to-end digital processes, integrating applications with internal systems and project tracking tools, supporting client data and reporting needs, and advancing AI agent capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong application development experience, database and API expertise, and hands-on knowledge of AI agent development and performance tuning using Splunk.\nThis role offers a hybrid schedule based at 240 Greenwich St, New York, NY, with 3 days onsite per week and 2 days remote. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Friday night deployments will be required as part of the role.\nKey Responsibilities:\nApplication Development & Technical Support: Consult with internal business groups to deliver application development services and technical support aligned with business objectives and operational needs.\nRequirements Analysis & Solution Design: Analyze, define, and document requirements across data, workflow, logical processes, system interfaces, controls, and outputs while adhering to established development standards and methodologies.\nEnd-to-End Process Development: Help improve and develop processes by taking workflows from end to end, moving them into online systems, and ensuring solutions are built to support reporting, usability, and business needs.\nSystem Integration & Workflow Enablement: Integrate applications with internal systems, APIs, and project tracking tools such as JIRA to support workflow management, reporting, and operational visibility.\nClient Data & Reporting Solutions: Support systems that collect and organize client data from multiple sources, helping deliver the reporting capabilities and insights needed by the business.\nAI Agent Development: Develop, enhance, and support AI agents, including building new capabilities and improving existing solutions to better meet team objectives.\nAI Performance Tuning & Monitoring: Support AI agent performance tuning using current Splunk technology and monitoring insights to optimize functionality, reliability, and supportability.\nDatabase & API Development: Build and support database-driven applications using Python, SQL, and API integration practices, including data modeling, ETL, and workflow automation.\nProject Planning & Technical Recommendations: Contribute to project planning, feasibility analysis, compatibility review, and the development of recommendations to resolve business and technology issues.\nProduction Support & Deployment: Support production environments, assist with incident-related needs including production and cyber-related workflows, and participate in Friday night deployments as required.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of application development experience\nStrong experience with enterprise technologies and modern software development practices\nStrong SQL and database development skills, including Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, or equivalent platforms\nExperience with Python or similar development platforms\nKnowledge of API integration, data modeling, ETL, and workflow automation\nHands-on experience with Python, Oracle SQL, GitLab, APIs, Splunk, and App Engine\nExperience building database-driven applications across both back-end and front-end development\nExperience supporting or developing full stack or application development solutions\nHands-on experience with AI agent development\nExperience with AI agent performance tuning using Splunk technology\nStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and ability to develop practical technology solutions\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with business and technical stakeholders\nPreferred Experience:\nExperience integrating data from multiple source systems and APIs\nExperience supporting production environments and resolving application issues\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices\nExperience working with AI-enabled analytics, automation, or intelligent reporting platforms\nExperience with machine learning fundamentals, generative AI tools and frameworks, or AI agent development practices\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions\nExperience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and work experience\nWhy Join Us:\nThis role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful development work focused on modernizing processes, improving reporting, integrating client data systems, and expanding AI-enabled capabilities.
