The Manufacturing Process Coordinator is also responsible for monitoring Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and managing Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), verifying the accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and operation times, and updating production schedules to meet customer demands.REPORTS TO The Manufacturing Process Coordinator directly reports to the Director of EngineeringMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITIONEducation, Training, and/or Experience U.S. Citizen or Permanent ResidentValid Driver's LicenseAssociate's Degree; experience may be considered in lieu of DegreeMinimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role (manufacturing industry preferred)Experience in technical writing, scheduling, expediting, distribution, supply chain or inventory management preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environmentRegularly required to sit, speak, and listen for extended periods of timeFrequently required to use eye‐hand coordination, repetitive hand movements and manual dexterity to handle and typeOccasionally bend, twist, reach to shoulder level; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds; with assistance if over 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focusHearing level within normal/average rangeESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND ABILITIESTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Solid fluency in the English language with an emphasis on writing skillsUnderstanding of work flows and proceduresStrong attention to detail; highly accurateIntermediate/Advanced alphanumeric typing skillsAbility to operate company vehicle and maintain a clean driving recordAbility to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to learn and maintain a working knowledge of interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, projects and specificationsKnowledgeable in integrated manufacturing software programs, and Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong organization and time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks at a timeAdaptable to changes in the work environment; ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, and unexpected eventsAbility to work under pressure; maintain composure and professionalism at all timesTeam player with a positive and respectful attitude; strong sense of self‐motivation, accountability, and responsibilityESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Process Engineering Change Requests (ECR)Communicate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) in a timely mannerUpdate in-process work instructions by performing redlines at multiple plants (driving company vehicle)Track parts and materials data in company ERP systemProvide status on parts, subassemblies, and toolingUpdate production schedules in ERP to accommodate priority objectives in a timely mannerCommunicate production issuesCoordinate process improvements as requestedCorrespond with customers and suppliers as necessaryHelp improve efficiency and avoid production downtime or delaysOther duties as assignedManagement reserves the right to assign and/or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
