Our work strengthens families and fosters inclusive, supportive communities.\nJob Summary: The Program Coordinator plays a key support role in the day-to-day operations of Abilis’ Glenville-based businesses, including Property Maintenance, Cleaning Crew, Riverside Commons, Environmental Enrichment, and Abils Cafe. This position assists the Director of Business Operations in ensuring smooth, mission-driven operations by coordinating schedules and transportation, supporting program staff, and managing supplies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and passionate about creating and sustaining inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.\nResponsibilities:\nCommunicate effectively and respectfully with program participants.\nRespond appropriately to emergencies and summon emergency personnel when needed.\nMaintain valid CPR and medication administration certifications; perform CPR and Heimlich maneuver when necessary.\nSafely supervise individuals and assist with adaptive equipment; lift up to 40 lbs.\nAssist with daily program operations, including scheduling and staff coordination.\nCoordinate transportation schedules and provide coverage during staff absences.\nSupport individuals with disabilities by providing resources, guidance, and on-the-job assistance.\nTrack time, attendance, and maintain accurate payroll and program records.\nFacilitate communication between programs, team leads, and staff.\nParticipate in team meetings, trainings, and planning sessions.\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in business operations, retail, hospitality, or non-profit program coordination.\nMinimum of 2+ years’ experience in administrative, operational, or support roles.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic point-of-sale.\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple priorities across programs.\nEmpathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills—particularly in working with individuals with disabilities.\nValid driver’s license.\nBenefits:\nFull time employees will receive: Health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, free life insurance, 401k profit share, tuition assistance program, awards and recognition including team of the season, on the spot awards, and anniversary gifts.
