The Network Engineer provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.\nPosition requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.\nRequired Skills:\nCisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)\nPhysical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.\nStrong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.\nStrong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.\nWorking knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.\nAble to support on-call requirements.\nAble to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.\nVirtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline\nMinimum three (3) years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or five (5) years minimum experience in lieu of degree.\nDoD 8570 IAT II level certification.\nMust have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.\n___________________________________________________________________\nThe pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
