However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.\nSupport the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.\nConduct part layouts and capability studies to assure parts meet or exceed dimensional requirements of the customer.\nMaintain the calibration systems in Mainsaver/Gage Trak system.\nMaintain calibration and certification records.\nMaintain gauges in good working order.\nEstablish and maintain annual part/gauge layout schedules.\nEvaluate CMM data for accuracy, prior to submission.\nPrepare reports for internal and external customers and interface as appropriate.\nWrite CMM programs.\nMaintain CMM & CMM software in good working order.\nParticipate in team problem solving activities.\nProvide CMM data for sample part submission.\nInterface with customers, contractors and suppliers as appropriate.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).\nSupport plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality Registrations (ex. TS 16949, ISO 14001, Pentastar, etc.)\nAssist with plant activities to achieve quality, productivity and cost reduction goals.\nComply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures while performing daily work activities.\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping in work area.\nMaintain a positive working relationship with all areas of the organization.\nAdherence to all company policies and procedures (ex. Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook, Level II Procedures etc.)\nLEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAbility to identify, select, train and coach quality talent.\nProvides model behavior to demonstrate corporate values.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\nREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nAssociates/Technical degree or equivalent experience.\nZero to three (3) years experience as a CMM programmer/operator in PCDMIS preferred.\nREQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES\nExperience in calibration methods and use of measuring tools.\nTechnical math skills.\nAbility to read blueprints.\nAbility to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations.\nPREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS & ABILITIES\nGeneral knowledge of Quality Systems (i.e.; SPC, ISO/TS 16949 etc.)\nIntermediate to advanced computer skills.\nExcellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.\nRoot cause/ problem solving ability.\nGood understanding of GD&T.\nAbility to work well with others in a fast paced team environment.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS\nDuties include but are not limited to stand, walk, twist, bend, lift, see, talk and hear, with an ability to travel.
