The position also involves providing user support, managing inventory, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\nMaintain and monitor local in-house servers, Internet infrastructure, and related equipment (e.g., switches, panels, cabling).\nCoordinate software and system upgrades to ensure the continuous functionality of laboratory instruments and the integrity of test data.\nProcure IT-related equipment (e.g., computers, cables, accessories) for laboratory and office use.\nManage IT and electrical inventory, including cords, backup batteries, cables, and printers.\nProvide day-to-day troubleshooting support for computers, headsets, software, printers, SharePoint, and other technical tools used in both the laboratory and office environments.\nWork closely with offsite IT teams and instrument vendors to resolve issues related to software, instrument connectivity, and system configurations.\nFile support tickets for issues such as user lockouts, software installations, new computer assignments, and technical troubleshooting.\nCoordinate with HR, offsite IT, and department heads to ensure new employees are provided with the necessary equipment, workstations, and account setups.\nAdminister user accounts, manage data archiving, and troubleshoot issues related to instrument software.\nAssist the Engineering team with software and electrical troubleshooting, including calibrations and vendor coordination.\nManage and troubleshoot software for laboratory instruments, including Scan RDI and Empower systems.\nAssist with the Laboratory Environmental Monitoring System (LIMS), including user management, alarm handling, email notifications, and archiving process for Scan RDI and Empower server data, ensuring smooth data transfer to cloud servers.\nCollaborate closely with Engineering and Quality teams to manage and troubleshoot critical systems, such as Scan RDI and Empower.\nSupport the addressing of any excursions and archiving process for Scan RDI and Empower server data, ensuring smooth data transfer to cloud servers.\nSupport the maintenance and updates of laboratory software to ensure compliance with operational standards and maintain data integrity.\nParticipate in continuous system improvements and implement best practices to enhance the laboratory's IT infrastructure.\nAdhere to and support company cybersecurity policies.\nParticipate in the creation and completion of IT-related projects.\nResearch solutions using available information resources and advise users on the appropriate actions.\nActively participate in IT projects that fall outside the scope of help desk tickets.\nInform management of recurring issues or potential improvements.\nStay up to date with system information, changes, and updates.\n\nWho You Are\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.\n2–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, laboratory IT, or a related technical role.\nHands-on experience supporting servers, network infrastructure, switches, printers, workstations, and other IT hardware.\nExperience troubleshooting Windows-based systems, software applications, user accounts, connectivity issues, and peripheral devices.\nExperience supporting or administering laboratory instrument software, LIMS, or other laboratory information systems preferred.\nFamiliarity with Empower, Scan RDI, LIMS, or similar laboratory instrument/data management systems strongly preferred.\nExperience working with laboratory instruments, instrument connectivity, data transfer, software configuration, and system upgrades is highly desirable.\nUnderstanding of data integrity, electronic records, system access controls, audit trails, data archiving, and regulated laboratory environments.\nFamiliarity with GxP, FDA, cGMP, GLP, 21 CFR Part 11, or similar regulatory requirements preferred.\nExperience working with Quality, Engineering, laboratory operations, HR, vendors, and offsite IT teams.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues independently and escalate appropriately.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, support users in a fast-paced laboratory environment, and respond effectively to system or instrument issues.\nExperience with IT inventory management, equipment procurement, asset tracking, and vendor coordination.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Windows, networking fundamentals, cloud systems, and cybersecurity best practices.\nExperience with ticketing/help-desk systems and documenting technical issues and resolutions.\nAbility to coordinate new-hire IT onboarding, including hardware, software, accounts, workstations, and system access.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly when handling laboratory data, system configurations, access permissions, and documentation.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to research technical issues, identify solutions, document findings, and communicate recommendations to management.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability.\nAbility to support cybersecurity policies, system controls, and data protection requirements.\nWillingness and ability to participate in IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nWho We Are\n\nServing customers since 2004, Eagle offers the highest quality in preparation testing for sterility, bacterial endotoxins, microbial detection, beyond-use dating (BUD) determination and active ingredient potency.
