Payroll Specialist
About the roleThe organization is seeking a Payroll Specialist / Analyst with strong UKG expertise to manage andprocess biweekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. This individual will play a criticalrole in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting workforce managementfunctions and payroll-related reporting and analysis.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UKG and Workforce Management (WFM),thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to payrolloperations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accurate and timely biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employeesManage payroll activities within UKG, including auditing, validation, and reconciliationPartner with HR, Finance, and operational leaders to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure complianceMaintain and support Workforce Management (WFM) processes including timekeeping and attendance dataReview payroll data for accuracy related to pay rates, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefitsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsAssist with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end activities including W-2 processingSupport payroll system enhancements, process improvements, and reporting initiativesRespond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional mannerMaintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee and payroll informationRequired Qualifications3+ years of payroll processing experienceStrong hands-on experience with UKG requiredExperience supporting Workforce Management (WFM) and timekeeping functionsExperience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employee populationsUnderstanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirementsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent problem-solving and communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentAdvanced Excel and reporting skills preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare, EMS, staffing, or multi-site environmentsExposure to payroll analytics, reporting, or HRIS support functionsCPP certification is a plusHow to applyIf you are interested in discussing this role further, please apply for the position or contact Morgan Schill at mos@escorporatefunctions.com (Job Code - MOS/77070).If you require any adjustments, accommodation, or additional support during the recruitment process, please do not hesitate to let us know.
