They are proactive problem solvers who drive initiatives forward, ensuring the successful delivery of key results that significantly impact the business.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of bike share system firmware.\nCollaborate closely with firmware engineers to thoroughly understand firmware design and implementation, facilitating comprehensive testing. Work with product, hardware, and operations teams to ensure firmware meets all system-level requirements.\nManage firmware deployments to bikes and docks, including planning, scheduling, and execution.\nExperience\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in firmware testing, preferably in the embedded systems domain.\nStrong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.\nExperience with testing embedded systems, including hardware and software interactions.\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation.\nExperience with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UART, I2C, SPI).\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nPreferred:\nExperience with HIL testing and test automation frameworks.\nFamiliarity with bike share systems or similar IoT devices.\nKnowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).\nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.\nExperience with over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates.\nKnowledge of firmware deployment tools and best practices.\nBenefits:\n\nGreat medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled\nMental health benefits\nFamily building benefits\nChild care and pet benefits\n401(k) plan with company match to help save for your future\nIn addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off\n18 weeks of paid parental leave.
