This role involves serving as the primary liaison between the organization and government program authorities, ensuring all contract requirements are met with excellence. The General and Operations Manager will manage resources, lead programming activities, and ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.\nDuties:\nLeadership and Oversight:\nAct as the overall program lead, ensuring alignment with the customer’s mission and contract objectives.\nProvide all program personnel leadership, direction, and guidance, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.\nManage the acquisition and allocation of resources to meet program goals.\nAs the overall program lead, ensure execution by teams of the contract deliverables.\nCustomer and Stakeholder Engagement:\nServe as the primary point of contact for government representatives, contractors, and other stakeholders.\nFacilitate communication and coordination with customers, ensuring their expectations and requirements are met or exceeded.\nAttend weekly meetings with government leadership to stay updated on policies, priorities, and program changes.\nProgram Execution and Management:\nOversee the implementation of contract requirements, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.\nDevelop and monitor program plans, schedules, and budgets, adjusting as necessary to address risks or changes in requirements.\nManage and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring program success is measured and reported accurately.\nCompliance and Reporting:\nEnsure all program activities comply with applicable DoD, Navy, and contractual guidelines, including cybersecurity, personnel security, and operational security (OPSEC) requirements.\nPrepare and deliver regular status reports, technical reports, and financial updates to stakeholders, including Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables.\nRisk and Issue Management:\nIdentify and mitigate program risks to ensure uninterrupted delivery of services.\nImplement contingency plans to address potential challenges or obstacles.\nTeam Development and Management:\nOversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of program personnel.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.\n\nQualifications:\nMaster’s degree from an accredited college or university\n10+ years of experience in a similar role.\nProven ability to manage complex programs with multiple deliverables and stakeholders.\nIn-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and guidelines.\nExperience with managing classified and unclassified projects, including compliance with security clearance requirements.\nProficient in preparing and delivering detailed technical and financial reports to stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPMP Certification\nLean Six Sigma Certification\nFamiliarity with NAVY programs/project management standards, procedures and requirements.\nAdditional Requirements:\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\nMust possess a Top-Secret security clearance.\nMust be eligible to perform Non-Critical Sensitive work as defined by SECNAVINST 5510.30C.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive Compensation:\nWe offer a highly competitive salary package to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
