This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in driving business growth, managing budgets, and fostering a positive team culture.\nResponsibilities\nAssist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in service\nSupervise and train staff on food preparation, POS systems , cash handling, and customer service protocols\nOversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and sanitation standards\nManage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure proper coverage during all operating hours\nMonitor food production processes including cooking, food handling, and presentation to meet quality standards\nLead staff training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and hospitality standards\nHandle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels\nAssist with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management to optimize profitability\nEnsure compliance with health regulations and safety procedures across all restaurant operations\nSupport marketing efforts and community engagement to increase brand visibility\nKey Competencies:\nProven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments\nStrong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety practices\nExperience with POS systems; cash handling expertise required\nDemonstrated leadership skills with supervising teams and conducting staff training & development\nExcellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally\nAbility to manage inventory control, budgeting, and operational procedures effectively\nPrevious assistant manager or restaurant management experience preferred; hospitality management background is a plus\nKnowledge of food industry standards including culinary experience, food handling, and catering is advantageous\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment\nFlexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed\nQualifications for the job:\nEducation: High school degree or equivalent\n1 Year QSR experience preferred\nOther: Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer\nServe Safe Certification Food Handler\nMust have reliable transportation\nJoin our team at Wingstop! where you will have the opportunity to lead a vibrant team while delivering outstanding dining experiences.
