Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician

Now Hiring Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician The Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician (PDI) readies the vehicle for customer delivery. The PDI tech is responsible for meticulous inspection, vehicle cleaning and detailing as well as overall make-ready preparation for customer delivery. Skills / Qualities Preferred Include: Previous auto dealership experience preferred Strong attention to detail Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new units coming from the factory. Inspect vehicle interior and exterior thoroughly. Verify all accessories and options are functional (install if needed) Remove any shipping materials left on or in vehicle. Perform detailed cleaning, as needed, of interior and exterior of vehicle including upholstery, rugs and exterior surfaces; use special purposes cleaners and agents for desired results. Set radio, clock, compass, fuel economy readings, etc. Apply Mac Haik decals. Check and add all fluids as necessary. Fill fuel tank to designated levels. Test drive vehicle. Deliver vehicle packet to designee with keys labeled with location and mileage. Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule. Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand. Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. Other duties as assigned.
