In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn and gain working knowledge of all\nequipment and machinery within the Containment department.\nResponsibilities\nHas working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Containment department\nAssembles containment doors, partitions, and other products per product specifications.\nDetects faulty materials used to assemble parts and reports findings to the Team Leader or\nSupervisor.\nCompletes production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.\nUses banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or\nmaterial.\nPerforms other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader or Supervisor.\nMaintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.\nFollows all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard\nOperating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis\n(JSAs), and Safety Manual.\nMaintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety,\nenvironmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe\nacts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.\nAbility to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.\nAble to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift.\nAbility to use various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.\nAble to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.\nMust be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.\nSummary\nAs a Machine Operator/CNC Operator, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your core skills in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality machined parts. Your premium skills in CNC programming, CAD, and CNC lathe operation will be essential in programming and operating our machines efficiently. With relevant experience in a manufacturing facility and expertise in using calipers and micrometers, you will contribute to our production process seamlessly. A high school diploma or GED is required for this role.
