{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"fc01de2f707e9dec91ed31a3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fc01de2f707e9dec91ed31a3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fc01de2f707e9dec91ed31a3","title":"Process Tech/Supervisor Plastic Injection Molding 2nd and 3rd shift","description":"Essential Job Functions:\nVerifies and documents that process settings are within parameters called out in the Process Book.\nEnsures that all molded product meets acceptable customer requirements.\nPerforms visual checks on molded product hourly.\ninsuring the adherence to daily priorities within the 2 cells of the unit and the plant\nreview proper placement of all operators within the unit,\nEnsure and enforce organization and cleanliness of the unit\nWork with the QE for the work cell to insure the operators have what is needed to do the job properly\nInsure the basic intent of “every press must run” is adhered to\nLook for and implement every opportunity for improved efficiency. i.e reduction of labor, more efficient way of moving product from the press to the operator at the aisle location\nProduction report for all presses in that unit\nDrive compliance to the completion of the pace board\nDrive the completion, by the end of the current shift, of any and all rework or back up created on his/her shift\nResponsible for records and reports on production of shift.\nMonitors, reports and dispositions scrap as needed.\nOversees that jobs are running to standard.\nPromotes a safe work environment.\nOversees/enforces that operators are at their work stations at the appropriate time.\nOversees/enforces that work stations are clean throughout the day and at shift change.\nMust complete daily reports and enter production, scrap, downtime etc as required in database and report in daily accountability meeting.\nWorks with Quality Engineer to report any quality issues or concerns.\nEnsures company procedures and policies are being followed and uses corrective action when necessary.\nComplete ownership of the unit performance, cleanliness, and over success and pride\nAdditional Duties and Responsibilities:\nMay assist in training new operators/trimmers to perform jobs.\nReworks parts as needed.\nOperate fork truck when necessary.\nPerforms other duties as assigned or required.\nFunction as material handler/die setter when required\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nCommunication skills necessary to provide information in a comprehensible fashion (oral and written); read and comprehend instructions.\nGood interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain a productive working relationship with staff members and clients.\nApply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.\nCalculate surfaces, volumes, weights, and measures.\nWorking Conditions:\nShop environment with exposure to loud noises from shop machines.\nExtended hours are commonly required beyond the regular eight hour workday.\nOccasional lifting and carrying tools and other items weighing up to approximately twenty five pound, and or up to 10 pounds frequently.
