Account Supervisor
Wild Hive is looking for a talented, responsible, organized and creative Account Supervisor with a background in consumer food, agriculture and/or nutrition marketing and communications. This position will play a key role in managing integrated marketing communications activities for clients, including food and nutrition-focused media relations, social media strategy and implementation, and influencer engagement. The Day-to-DayConsumer Food & Nutrition Media Relations:Develop, manage and implement media relations strategies and cultivate and maintain relationships with food and nutrition media (writers, editors, producers, etc.) to secure media coverageDraft and distribute media pitches, press releases and other materials that communicate our clients’ key messagesPitch media outlets, coordinate in-person and virtual meetings, and organize briefings to enhance media engagement Social Media Strategy & Execution:Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with our clients’ goals and informed by trends and analytics from social and traditional mediaDevelop engaging content for various social media platforms, manage posting and community engagement as well as social media advertising campaignsMonitor, analyze and report social media performance to measure success and optimize strategies Influencer Relations:Research and select influencers who align with our clients’ values, goals and target audiencesManage influencer contracts, oversee campaign execution and ensure deliverables are met according to contract termsCultivate effective relationships with influencers to drive successful collaborationsAccount Management:Develop and implement client programs that produce excellent business and media resultsWork collaboratively with account team members and consultants to effectively deliver desired program results on-time and on-budget and ensure regular updating of agendas, trackers and status reportsParticipate in new business planning and developmentOther duties as assignedRequirements5+ years of marketing and communications agency experienceExcellent time management and organizational skillsAnalytical mind with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in AP styleExisting relationships with the consumer food and/or nutrition media and influencersStrong passion for food, nutrition/health and agricultureExperience working with food brands and/or commodity boardsHighly motivated by developing and nurturing meaningful professional relationships Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work as a team and support other team membersAbility to travel from time to time for client, new business and Wild Hive team meetingsBachelor’s degreeWork Environment:Collaborative and communicative team that has a passion for food and agriculture marketing and communicationsRespect for family and work-life balanceWild Hive employees work remotelyLocationPosition can be remote; however we’d prefer to have someone based in either the Austin, Orlando, Indianapolis, Chicago or the New York City areas for ease of in-person collaboration, as needed, with other Wild Hive team members.
