Warehouse and Inventory Assistant, $20/H, Full Benefits, 4x10 Shifts

Nature of Work: Perform general inventory and parts management. Assist with checking in products received. Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts/inventory area. Utilizing a forklift to move heavy materials. Use company van to pick up or deliver parts. Pricing out parts for appropriate work orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist technicians and property managers with tools and materials. You will be responsible for keeping the shop neat and orderly. Sign-off on received packages or parts that are delivered, counting their quantities, the ensuring they are put away and catalogued correctly. Assist in fabricating screens using power saws and tape measures. Operate a forklift to organize heavier materials and parts in the inventory area (Forklift certification can be provided). Check out tools from technician tool inventory on request, then checking tools in upon return. Reliably handling these duties while working solo on Fridays. Requirements: Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to use mobile phone device. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Must comply with prescribed uniform policy. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must comply with all safety requirements. Ideal candidate will have working knowledge of/possess: Hand and power tools. Construction materials. Plumbing parts and assembly. Receiving freight with accuracy. Forklift operation. Good communication skills. DMV record check, background check and drug test required. This is a great long term, stable employment opportunity with sick, vacation and holiday pay.
