Clyde Crane Operator - swing shift

SummaryClyde Operator is required to operate both Clyde and Washington cranes in a safe and professional manner. Must maintain exceptional control of the crane and the load being lifted. Must learn names and locations of parts being handled.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are typical for this role. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices. Responsible for the safe operation and control of the crane and loads being handled Report safety concerns in a timely manner Fill orders for steel Inspect crane and cab, complete inspection form Trained to read and understand the load charts for the cranesQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities The following generally describes requirements to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period to successfully perform the assigned duties. This position may be exposed to welding, machining, forming, metal surface treatment, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and other metal working and assembly processes. Additional PPE may be required as determined by the environment.
