As part of our Integration Engineering team, you will support and facilitate system integration of Persistent existing and development products with end-users and industry partners, primarily Army customers. You will support the definition of technical requirements for new programs and provide technical support for existing programs. Responsibilities will include requirements gathering, solution design, test planning and execution, RF mapping, report generation and delivery. You will play a pivotal role in communicating technical challenges and new requirements to our engineering department as you strive to solve problems. This role requires excellent communication skills and significant customer interface experience. You will be required to interface with a variety of internal and external stakeholders such as industry partners, end users, government program offices, Persistent Sales and Programs Management teams, and product developers.\n\nPosition Responsibilities\n\nCollaborating with Customer Entities, PersistentSystemsEngineering and Field Operations teams to resolve technical issues escalated from customer locations.\n\nContributing to program effectiveness byidentifyingshort-term and long-term issues; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; and recommending options and courses of action\n\nBuild customer relationships with program clients through managing and interpreting their requirements and conveying progress to Management team\n\nTroubleshooting customers’ communication systems and collaborating with the Sales, Engineering,and Field Operationsdepartmentsto resolve technical issues.\n\nDeveloping testand demonstrationplansandmethodologies followed by final reports and summaries for internal and external customers\n\nDeveloping technical portions of responses to RFI / RFP and other similar customer requirements\n\nMaintaining expert knowledge of Persistent Systems products to evaluate andmaintainprogram objectives\n\nWorking closely withProduct Development Departmentby providing feedback from information gathered duringintegration and testing projects\n\nCommunicating Persistent Systems' solutions to technical and non-technical clients and end-users\n\nJob Qualifications & Experience\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or computer science\n\n3+ yearsofrelevantexperience\n\nUnderstandingtechnical concepts such as wireless, mobile IP, RF propagation with an understanding of hardware and software concepts\n\nUnderstanding of networking concepts such as IP routing and switching and VPN architecture\n\nExperience withArmy Vehicles, Uncrewed Systems,Aviationor Maritime communicationssystemsand operations\n\nProficiencyin software packages such as Visio, Microsoft Office\n\nMust be available to travel30% of the time\n\nMust be able to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nMaster’s degreein electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering,orcomputer science\n\n5+ years of experience with Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations communication systems\n\nProficiencyin programming in Python, C, and/or C++\n\nProficiencyin working through Linux Operating System.\n\nExperience with wireless concepts such as MANET, Mesh, Ad-hoc, protocols and web architecture, with an understanding of hardware and software concepts\n\nExperience working directly with customers and end users\n\nExperience of working with customer organizations such aslarge sizedGovernment entities\n\nExperience working with mid-size or larger Commercial organizations\n\nDoD Information Operations and Cyber Security experience\n\nProficiencyin advanced technical software packages such asSolidWorks, and MATLAB\n\nActive Secret US Security Clearance\n\nThe base pay for this role can vary from $152,000 to $173,000 a year based on individual qualifications.
