The typical developer will be able to test the effectiveness of routines against requirements. In addition, embedded firmware efforts are needed to deploy the developed algorithms to hardware.Job Responsibilities:Training and Optimizing ML/hybrid pipelines for hardware deploymentDevelop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques of algorithms related to Deep LearningDesigns, implements and tests algorithms for a variety of machine learning (deep learning) tasksDesign statistical models and algorithms for analysing workload performanceSynthesize algorithm needs and designs for customer requirements.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues found with softwareDeploy algorithms to hardware.Improve software performanceSkills:Experience with algorithm development (PyTorch, Tensorflow)Experience with object-oriented programming in C++ or other languagesExperience with embedded systems (e.g. Raspberry Pi, NVidia Jetson, FPGA) and deploy algorithms to hardwareExperience with machine learning toolkits and platformsAbility to deploy algorithms to hardware by porting them to firmwareAbility to manage projects autonomously.Education: (Minimum) Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field preferred, Masters preferredKey Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Training and Optimizing ML/hybrid pipelines for hardware deploymentPurpose/Size of this team & where does this position fit within the team?: Sensors and systems team.
