They strive to support all customers, both internal and external to the company, in their never-ending quest to improve quality.\nWe are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the following:\n\nResponsibilities:\nCustomer and Company Support – 70%\nEffectively communicating with customers, suppliers, and employees of Supply Technologies, as required.\nLead problem solving using 8D or 5 why methodology to provide robust corrective action solutions to customers by working with internal team and suppliers.\nProvide visible, active support for the ISO9001, and the ISO 14001 Quality System, as applicable.\nPerform quality management system audit as internal auditor\nPerform supplier quality system audit and product/process audit\nSupport customer and third-party audits.\nMaintain a safe and unobstructed work area, follow all safety guidelines, and utilize appropriate safety equipment and practices.\nPractice positive customer relations and constructive problem-solving.\nValidate customer concerns, on site if possible, and effectively communicate findings to all parties involved.\nOversee product containment and rework process at customer and branch.\nIssue and drive supplier corrective actions by setting expectations and coaching.\nActive participation in new product launches representing Quality as part of the APQP process, as required.\nDrive continuous improvement by applying lean or six sigma approaches such as standard work, and process audit techniques\n\nTeamwork – 20%\nAssist the Quality Assurance Team in processing and resolving customer concerns, as required.\nProvide the organization with technical support in new product introduction, operational excellence and customer service.\nUnderstand and apply appropriate quality assurance and improvement processes.\nContinuously upgrade skills and knowledge to improve personal effectiveness and provide training and guidance to less experienced/skilled personnel.\nRecognize and evaluate the impact on others when making any decision.\n\nMaintaining and Creating Documentation – 10%\nConstructing complete and accurate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages ready for presentation to the customer.\nUtilize the Inventory Management System to perform the required transactions and to generate reports and metrics, as requested.\n\nMust Haves:\nBachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline OR an offsetting experience.\nAPQP Experience.\nStatistical analysis experience.\nStatistical Process Control (SPC) software experience.\nISO 9001 experience.\nPPAP experience.\nExperience in the use of basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)\nProblem solving using 8D and 5 why methodology.\nAbility to travel up to 25%.\n\nWE Value:\nFastener experience.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products\nAutomotive and/or Heavy Truck industry exposure.\nAbility to work under remote or offsite supervision.\nWorked under ISO 14001 and IATF-16949 management systems.\nGage Calibration and Gage R&R software experience.\nExperience with Optical Comparator, Hardness Tester, Thread and Plug Gages.\nExposure to lean & Six Sigma.\nQuality management system or supplier process/product audit experience\n\nOUR Team Members:\nDo The Right Thing and we will succeed: We insist on honest and ethical behavior;
