If you're dependable, self-motivated, and have experience installing and servicing security systems along with voice, data, and fiber cabling, we'd love to hear from you.\nStarting Pay\n$30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.\nThis Position Requires\nThis is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience installing and servicing electronic security systems and structured cabling.\nResponsibilities\nInstall, program, troubleshoot, and service intrusion alarm systems\nInstall and service access control systems\nInstall and configure IP surveillance camera systems (CCTV)\nInstall, terminate, test, and certify Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling\nInstall and troubleshoot voice, data, and network infrastructure\nRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documentation\nPerform service calls and diagnose system issues efficiently\nMaintain accurate documentation of completed work\nCommunicate professionally with customers, project managers, and office staff\nEnsure all installations meet company quality standards and applicable codes\nMaintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment\nPreferred Experience\nCommercial and residential alarm systems\nAccess control platforms\nIP camera systems\nFiber termination and testing\nNetwork troubleshooting\nManufacturer certifications (preferred)\nRequirements\nMinimum 2–3 years of industry experience\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record\nAbility to pass a background check\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nExcellent customer service and communication skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and construction sites\nFlexible schedule when needed (our technicians are typically done by 1–2 PM on Fridays, but flexibility is required)\nBenefits\nCompetitive hourly pay\nCompany vehicle\nPaid holidays\nPaid vacation\nHealth insurance reimbursement\nRetirement plan with company match\nQuality tools and equipment\nOpportunities for advancement\nWhy Foss Security?\nAt Foss Security, we invest in our employees and value people who take pride in doing the job right.
