The position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary treatment team in a secure psychiatric environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plansFacilitate individual, group, and family therapeutic interventionsDocument treatment interventions, behavioral observations, and clinical progressParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsAssist with discharge planning and coordination of community resourcesMaintain safety and trauma-informed care practices in a secure facilityCollaborate with psychiatry, nursing, and security staff across unitsRequirementsMaster of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited programEligibility for Colorado LSW (endorsement or exam)1+ year experience in inpatient psychiatric, behavioral health, or state hospital settings preferredComfort working in secure forensic psychiatric environmentsMANDT training required (completed during facility orientation)Current AHA BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to startMust not have worked at CMHIP within the past 6 monthsMust pass background check, drug screen, TB screening, immunizations, and physical examCompensation & BenefitsWeekly payHealth insurancePaid sick time accrualMANDT certification provided during orientationContract renewal opportunities availableReferral program (referrers do not need to work for SpectrumACS)About SpectrumACSSpectrumACS, a division of American Correctional Solutions, has over 30 years of experience staffing state psychiatric hospitals, forensic facilities, correctional institutions, and public health systems nationwide.
