CNC Tube Bender Operator

OverviewWe are growing and adding to our headcount!We are seeking a skilled CNC Tube Bender Operator with experience operating tube bending equipment in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and adjusting CNC tube bending machines while also performing manual tube fabrication and rework operations as needed.The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, experience working with close tolerances, and the ability to manually manipulate and adjust tubing to meet customer specifications. This role combines CNC machine operation with hands-on fabrication techniques and requires a high attention to detail and quality workmanship.Work is performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a friendly environment and small company feel. Full-time position available on 1st shift. Positions come with benefits, retention increases, and annual one-on-one reviews.Schedule1st Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pmOvertime daily and Fridays as needed (Mon–Thurs until 5:30 pm and Friday 6:00 am – 11:00 am)ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC CRIPPA tube bending machinesPerform machine adjustments and program modifications as required to maintain dimensional accuracy and part conformityPerform mechanical fabrication work requiring fitting, alignment, and adjustment of aerospace tubing to close tolerancesBend, straighten, stretch, shape, and form metal tubing to specification using hand tools, fixtures, and fabrication equipmentPerform manual corrections and rework to production items as neededRead and interpret complex blueprints, process plans, schematics, and written/verbal instructionsVerify conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools and inspection methodsTroubleshoot dimensional or fabrication issues and work with leadership or engineering when requiredMaintain quality and production standards while following all company and customer requirementsAssist in continuous improvement efforts related to tube fabrication and manufacturing efficiencyMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company policiesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious CNC tube bending experience requiredExperience operating CRIPPA tube bending equipment strongly preferredPrior aerospace manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsBasic machining and fabrication tool knowledgeExperience using precision measuring instrumentsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsGood work ethicsSelf-starterWilling to learnPosition DemandsAble to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on a daily basisAble to stand for prolonged periods of timeAble to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workdayAble to successfully pass vision screensAble to perform repetitive fabrication dutiesExtended hours required during peak workloads or special projectsEligibility RequirementsEOE, including disability/veteranDrug screen and background check required for this positionE-VerifyBenefits401(k) matching – 100% vested on first day of enrollmentHealth Insurance – High & Low PPO, HSADental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceCompany Paid STD PlanPaid Time Off available upon hire8 Paid HolidaysReferral ProgramAdditional voluntary benefit options availableSalarySalary will depend on experience
