In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S.SummaryJob DescriptionThe Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Develops strategic plans to expand the company's market presence and collaborates with cross-functional teams to align business goals. Conducts market research, analyzes industry trends, and prepares proposals to secure new contracts. Oversees negotiation processes and ensures customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.What You'll DoResponsible for achieving specified sales and commercial margin goals while increasing market share with existing customers and growing new and active customersGenerate leads and prospect potential customers through cold calls and building new relationshipsSuccessfully onboarding new accounts and supporting their growth with the companyCreate and implement strategies to increase sales within the existing customer baseBuild and maintain an opportunity pipeline to meet monthly sales targetsDevelop and maintain a Playbook for each key strategic account. Map out locations, relationships, and capital investment plansAs needed lead Customer Collaboration Teams (customer-specific) and Tactical Teams (project-specific) partnering with other sales individuals from within and outside of assigned marketIdentify/develop appropriate supplier partners and negotiate regional costing/pricing levels. Coordinate product training and new product introductions. Support in assessing regional stock needs and fulfilment logisticsWork with sales team to ensure cohesive, coordinated market approachInterface with suppliers; coordinate product training and new product introductions as requiredAssist branches and customers with product and technical support.
