In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders with a focus on pediatric populations.\nYour expertise will help children and students overcome communication challenges, fostering their academic success and social development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in environments such as home or childcare facilities making a meaningful difference every day.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nConduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations.\nDevelop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs and goals, including strategies for early intervention when appropriate.\nImplement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing safety.\nCollaborate closely with educators, healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments.\nMaintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress notes, and therapy outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.\nParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adapt intervention strategies as needed.\nEducate clients and their families about communication disorders and provide guidance on exercises or activities to support ongoing improvement at home or school.\n\nRequirements / Qualifications\n\nMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.\nCurrent state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.\nExperience in home setting or school settings preferred.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nResume\n\nComments and Other Information\n\nInterested candidates should submit a resume outlining their qualifications and interest in the position to Daniela Wilmes, learningtogetheres@gmail.com Join us in making a difference in the lives of individuals with communication challenges!
