Reporting to the VP Finance of the Work Truck Group (a group of related companies within Clarience Technologies), this position will lead accounting in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles, as well as lend insights and guidance contributing to the achievement of business targets and objectives. Essential skills include excellent communication and organization skills, experience implementing processes and procedures, and being comfortable partnering with a variety of individuals and departments within Prime Design and affiliated companies. The Controller will also manage and coach an on-site accountant who has day-to-day accounting duties and supports month end reporting.\n\nOnsite Requirement: Eagan, MN\nSalary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD Annual\n\nMain Responsibilities:\nAs the most senior finance leader at Prime Design, this role’s primary responsibilities include:\nDirect and coordinate financial reporting and budget management functions.\nRecommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of Prime Design along with individual departments. Implement related reporting metrics for early warning detection and correction of unfavorable performance occurrences.\nLead the monthly financial close process.\nMonitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and prior year.\nLead daily operations of the accounting department.\nOversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.\nPrepare financial forecasts as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis.\nComplete special projects and financial analysis for discussions with management concerning product life cycle and/or pricing actions.\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.\nImplement department goals, objectives, and operating procedures.\nAssist the corporate accounting team with audits, as required, and provide recommendations for process improvements.\nCoordinate, control, reconcile, and report physical inventory results.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree required.
