This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the field, values precision, and takes pride in ensuring that every structure meets the highest standards of safety and quality.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on-site where the action happens… walking the project, reviewing plans, and verifying that every beam, column, and connection meets design intent. The Structural Inspector serves as the trusted quality gatekeeper, collaborating closely with engineers and contractors to ensure that each project is built to last.\nKey Responsibilities:\nField Inspection\nPerform on-site structural inspections for major construction projects.\nVerify that work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.\nDocument site progress, conditions, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.\nReporting and Coordination\nPrepare detailed inspection reports summarizing observations, deficiencies, and recommendations.\nCollaborate directly with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve field issues.\nIdentify and communicate potential problems early to prevent costly rework.\nQuality Assurance\nMaintain adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.\nUphold the integrity and consistency of all inspection documentation.\nEnsure that final construction aligns with the approved design and structural intent.\nContinuous Development\nStay informed on new inspection technologies, materials, and methods.\nContribute to process improvements and maintain current knowledge of code updates.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent field experience.\nMinimum of 3 years of structural inspection experience.\nLicensed Building Inspector, Professional Engineer (PE), or Architect.\nStrong technical knowledge of structural systems and construction practices.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\nProven ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.\nBilingual (Spanish) preferred.\nIdeal Fit:\nProfessional, precise, and dependable.\nAdaptable and proactive in dynamic field environments.\nDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.\nTakes pride in ensuring work meets the highest engineering standards.\nIf you are looking to advance your career as a Structural Inspector, look no further!
