We will work together to solve challenging RF/mm-Wave circuit problems.\n\nEssential Responsibilities include:\n\nDesign and tape-out mm-Wave reference circuits on internal test chips and MPWs.\n\nUse industry-standard design tools to perform schematic design, physical layout, parasitic extractions, pre- and post-layout simulations, and Elector-Magnetic (EM) simulations.\n\nPerform circuit optimizations to meet performance requirement.\n\nCollaborate with design leads on multiple concurrent projects.\n\nOther Responsibilities:\n\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nEducation - MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.\n\nMust have transistor level circuit design understanding.\n\nKnowledge and experience with RF/mm-Wave circuit design.\n\nProficient with Cadence based EDA tools.\n\nLanguage Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)\n\nAbility to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nMS/PhD in RF, mm-Wave, Mixed-Signal, Analog IC design field\n\nKnowledge of RF transceiver building block design (PA, LNA, VCO, PLL, MIX, VGA, etc.)\n\nKnowledge of RF CMOS technologies (Bulk, SOI) is preferred.\n\nPrior related internship or co-op experience\n\nDemonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.\n\nProject management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nStrong planning & organizational skills\n\n#InternshipProgramUS\n\nExpected Salary Range\n$20.00 - $40.00\n\nExpected Salary Range\n$0.00 - $0.00\n\nThe exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.\n\nIf you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at usaccommodations@gf.com and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
