Technical Specialist - Electronics
Responsibilities:Work with other team members in defining and specifying user interface requirements.Participate in program design reviews with customers.Present engineering architectures, design progress, and study results.Remain abreast of all applicable technical advancements and participate in meetings with military and commercial customers.Identify potential problems in the fabrication process and work with technical lead and chief engineer to correct them.Estimate time and equipment required and provide recommendations for fabricating mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems from engineering drawings.Supervise the fabrication and diagnostic activities of mechanical, electrical, or electronic technicians.Perform diagnostic tests of mechanical, electrical, or electronic parts or assemblies.Inspect mechanical, electrical, or electronic parts and assemblies for conformance to engineering drawings, parts lists, schematics, and electrical interconnect listings.Assemble, disassemble, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.Required Qualifications:US Citizenship.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.An undergraduate degree and 10 years of directly related experience with technical certifications in the respective technical area; or a high school diploma and 15 years of directly related experience and technical certifications in the respective technical area.Desired Qualifications:Specific DoD electronics or avionics repair experience.
