You will contribute to emerging AI-driven engineering initiatives and work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment that emphasizes mentorship, technical growth, and exposure to modern software development practices.\n**Note: This opportunity is ideal for early-career software engineers eager to grow their expertise in big data, cloud technologies, and AI-enabled development.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications supporting large-scale data and analytics platforms\nWrite SQL queries & backend code to support new features, application enhancements, & defect resolution\nAssist in building & supporting data pipelines using technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Airflow\nCollaborate with Senior Engineers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions\nSupport cloud-native application development utilizing AWS services and modern data platforms\nParticipate in AI and intelligent automation initiatives that enhance internal engineering capabilities\nContribute to Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement efforts\nWHAT YOU BRING\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field\nStrong SQL fundamentals and experience querying relational databases\nExperience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, or Scala)\nExposure to big data concepts or technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Airflow\nFamiliarity with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL\nExposure to AWS or other cloud platforms (preferred)\nUnderstanding of OOP principles and distributed data processing concepts\nCuriosity and desire to learn emerging technologies, including cloud computing, AI, and machine learning\nAbility to collaborate effectively in Agile teams and participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement\nDisclaimer:\nBrooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
