This role independently performs calculations, reviews designs, prepares complex reports, and contributes to project planning. The Project Engineer II may also guide junior staff and interface directly with clients and regulatory agencies. #LI-KD1 #LI-Onsite\nResponsibilities:\n\nIndependently execute engineering designs, studies, and technical calculations.\nManage portions of projects or small projects from scoping through final deliverables\nReview and develop technical specifications, construction documents, and cost estimates.\nConduct and oversee field investigations, construction monitoring, and data analysis.\nEvaluate and mitigate project risks; contribute to QA/QC processes.\nMentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and completeness\nServe as a technical liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies\nSupport proposal development and provide input on scopes, schedules, and budgets\n\nJob Responsibilities Note:\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. UES retains the right to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, or Geotechnical Engineering.\n5+ years of progressive engineering experience\nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license required.\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record; travel as needed\nProficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and project documentation tools\nSolid knowledge of industry regulations, construction practices, and risk management\nEffective communication and leadership skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.\nTravel Requirements:\nThis position requires moderate travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, in support of business\nobjectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on\nproject needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may\nbe conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and\nuse of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.
