This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret design concepts into technical specifications, and the skills to ensure that products are produced to the correct fit, quality, and cost parameters.\nPOSITION DIMENSIONS\nScope, Complexity and Autonomy\nExperienced professional who typically performs moderately complex to complex work.\nUtilizes creative and/or technical skills, knowledge, etc. to complete the assigned work.\nReceives a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager.\nPrioritizes workload based on knowledge of calendar deliverables and deadlines.\nPOSITION SPECIFICATIONS\nEducation and Certifications, Experience and Skills, and Competencies\nDegree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field.\n3–5 years of experience in a Technical Design or related role within the fashion industry.\nStrong knowledge of garment construction, fit standards, and fabrication.\nProficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Windows OS.\nExperience with PLM systems and Gerber patternmaking software is a plus.\nExcellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.\nDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience working with overseas factories and international production timelines.\nExperience with sustainable fashion or knowledge of sustainable materials and processes.\nPay is based on multiple factors, such as qualifications/skills/experience, geography, and state and local wage laws.
