SDETs are responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software through automated testing and close collaboration with development teams. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to develop and execute automated test plans, maintain test frameworks, and ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and experience with Agile and DevOps practices.ResponsibilitiesCreating, maintenance and evaluation of software automation test scripts for both UI and API (including incorporation of dynamic test data)Gathering and validating application functional/performance/load requirements, test results reportingCreation and maintenance of test plans and test cases, prepared and managed in JIRA XRay, along with defect reporting and trackingDaily execution, as required, of manual and automated software testing in areas involving installation, functional, integration, and regression testingDocumentation of process improvements regarding best practices regarding test automation and generating test execution reportsCoordination and prioritization of test development activities and the ability to work with multiple development teams and software projects are also critical for the selected candidateRequirementsRequired Skills:10 - 12+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Appium, and WebdriverIOStrong expertise in advanced Java concepts including single-threading, multi-threading, POJOs, and JavaScript executionExperience integrating automation pipelines with cloud infrastructure, including auto-upload and auto-delete of APK/IPA filesExperience testing Mainframe applications and working with AWS-based systemsStrong mobile automation experience using Appium for Native and Hybrid apps (Android/iOS/AVD/Xcode/XCUITest/XCTest)Skilled in debugging mobile and web traffic using Charles ProxyExperience in web-based mobile testing across varying API levels and platformsHands-on experience with Rest Assured using JSON/GSON, and validating GET/PUT/POST/DELETE APIsStrong SQL skills including writing queries and validating stored proceduresExperience collaborating with DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams to integrate AI-driven insights into CI/CD pipelinesExperience using GitHub Copilot and Codium (Qodo) for automation development and CI/CD optimizationPreferred Skills:Knowledge of ADA/Accessibility testing and cross-environment validationUnderstanding of PCI compliance requirements for Dotcom and Mobile channelsExperience integrating UI automation with API request/response structuresStrong Manual & Functional Testing experience, including regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory testing, cross-browser/device validation, UAT, PVT, and production validationExperience: 10 - 15 yearsQualification: B.S / M.SPlease share resume with your LinkedIn link for quick interviews.
