This person will be responsible for all administrative activities related to the LMS platform at ACCO. They will act as a primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the LMS. They will leverage their expertise in LMS to assess the needs of the business, identify and evaluate system gaps, and implement changes and enhancements as needed. This role will also provide ongoing support and maintenance of the LMS platform. They will also create and build training courses and certifications.\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\n\nUnderstand all features and functionality of our in-house LMS (Oracle), representing the needs of stakeholders in product (LMS) development meetings.\nWork closely with Director of Training and Training Developer to manage, track, and update training content in the LMS.\nCommunicate to stakeholders, status and project progress of all work related to training content management.\nWork with IT, Human Resources, and other departments to aid in implementation of content into LMS platform.\nDevelop and deliver training on LMS best practices, usage, standards.\nDevelop standard operating procedures around LMS Administration, including intake forms (for service requests).\nDevelop and execute on communications plans for LMS status, planned and unplanned downtimes.\nLeverage strong knowledge of LMS capabilities as well as adult learning theory to ensure ongoing process improvements within the LMS, and propose systems enhancements aligned with business objectives and needs\nPerform workflow customization, process automation, report development, and dashboard creation.\nUse learning data metrics to identify trends, insights and recommendations to improve learner experience. Implements recommended solutions.\nEstablish best practices for learning technology platforms.\nCreate, maintain, and modify reporting capabilities to ensure tracking of training effectiveness and results\nSupport and communicate training content requirements for our LMS in coordination with training designers/developers.\nAdapt the learning content to address the identified training needs and align with the desired performance outcome.\nAssist with creation of training plans and strategies utilizing various learning methodologies and technology (online live training sessions, safe-paces eLearning courses, online and blended learning solutions).\nWork under tight deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\n\nPosition Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):\n\nBachelor’s degree required\nAt least 3 years of experience administering, modifying, and enhancing a learning management system\nKnowledge and understanding of adult learning concepts and methods\nStrong understanding of the SCORM technical standard\nStrong and effective written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to facilitate discussions with various audiences regarding technical capabilities and processes\nExcellent planning and organization skills, ability to independently manage multiple small to medium scale training projects from initiation to delivery\nExcellent written and oral communication, public speaking, and presentation skills\nAbility to adapt to business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.\nOutstanding organizational skills and attention to detail\nProficiency with Google Suite, Zoom, Smartsheet, and Oracle HCM preferred\nA love of working within a team in a flexible, fast-paced environment\nA positive attitude, can-do mindset, and a desire to constantly improve\nExperience using Docebo LMS preferred\n\nACCO Competencies:\n\nProactivity / Initiative: Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one’s level/position and with minimal supervision.\nPerseverance: Shows the wherewithal to fight for difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity.\nInsight: The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities.\nEngagement: Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people.\nTeamwork: The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner.\nBig Picture: Understands and contributes to organizations’ short- and long-term business strategy.
